Tool(s): Modify Parameters, Basic Reinforcement
Select the check boxes of the parameters you want to modify and enter a new value. Only the parameters whose check boxes are selected are taken into account.
Each wall has a viewing direction, which is defined by the position of the triangle symbol. Due to the viewing direction, there is a visible and an invisible wall surface.
General
Factory
Select a factory you have defined in the Factory catalog in the Catalogs.
Type (wall panels only)
You can convert concrete wall panel elements to sandwich wall panel elements and vice versa.
Outer/leaf thickness
You can modify the thickness of a facing concrete layer for concrete walls. The program takes into account this thickness in the production data (concrete distributor data). However, it is ignored for the purposes of weight calculation.
You can change the thickness of the two leaves for double walls. Any changes are always applied towards the interior; in other words, the thickness of the wall does not change – instead, the space between the two leaves changes.
When the program creates the elements based on the new leaf thickness, it checks the maximum element weight and issues a message, if necessary. Please note that the program neither updates connections automatically nor checks the positions of fixtures and additional reinforcement. In addition, you have to divide the walls again.
Concrete cover
Concrete cover of reinforcement.
Concrete grade
Select a concrete grade in the catalog.
Exposure class
Enter the appropriate exposure class.
You need to include the exposure class in reinforcement drawings according to DIN 1045-1, section 4.2.1 (3). Among other things, cement formulation, minimum concrete cover and minimum concrete strength grade depend on the exposure class.
Concrete grade of core layer (concrete wall only)
Select a concrete grade in the catalog.
Exposure class of core layer (concrete wall only)
Enter the appropriate exposure class.
You need to include the exposure class in reinforcement drawings according to DIN 1045-1, section 4.2.1 (3). Among other things, cement formulation, minimum concrete cover and minimum concrete strength grade depend on the exposure class.
Surface
Text for the surface finish. You can make this setting for the visible and invisible wall surfaces. However, it is only taken into account for the upper side in production (visible surface) of a concrete wall. For single panels the text is printed next to the concrete grade.
Status
You can change the element states and actions determined by the program.
Additional text for mark number
Complementary text for mark number.
Additional attributes
Can only be selected when entries have been made in the configurations. Click the Name button to select an attribute or cancel its selection. The data entry box can be changed. The defaults are defined in the configurations.
The attributes can be analyzed as follows:
Element parameters, ... (wall panels only)
You can change the element parameters of the selected wall panel element. The fixtures created cannot be modified.
Reinforcement
Lattice girder type
Select a girder type in your catalog if you have selected the Manual option for girder calculation in the reinforcement parameters.
This way, you can create double walls without girders and use girders as spacers for basic reinforcement of concrete walls.
Required bar cross-section / Reinforcement type
Depends on the reinforcement method selected. If you reinforce according to the as-value, changing this value only causes the reinforcement type to change. The program automatically determines the correct reinforcement type. If you reinforce (manually) using the reinforcement type catalog, you cannot change the as-value but you can change the reinforcement type.
Bar overlap top - bottom / sides
Reinforcement overlap top and/or bottom or side; you can make separate settings for the visible and invisible wall sides.
Use the Configurations to specify where the overlaps are created.
Bending shape top - bottom / sides
Bending shape top and/or bottom or side; you can make separate settings for the visible and invisible wall sides. Click to open a dialog box in which you can select the bending shape.
Use the Configurations to specify where the bending shapes are created.
Reinforcement direction
Span direction of wall reinforcement. The span direction of a wall (i.e., the direction of longitudinal bars or lattice girders) is set to 0 degrees. 90 degrees means that longitudinal bars and lattice girders are placed at right angles in the wall.
