'General' tab
Created on:
Date of creation of the data record.
Last modified:
The most recent modification date.
Name:
User-defined name for the girder.
ID Number:
Some control systems require this reference number. The number is user-definable, but it must be unique.
Girder type (slab):
Standard girder/Shear girder/Girder with baseboard
This selection is only available if you have selected the Roof, Slab and/or Balcony entries on the ->Assignment tab.
The entries you can make in the Girder data tab depend on the girder type you specify here.
Girder type (wall):
Layer connection with secondary girder/Layer connection/Secondary girder
This selection is only available if you have selected the Wall entry on the ->Assignment tab.
The entries you can make in the Girder data tab depend on the girder type you specify here.
Material number:
The external list generator can analyze material numbers as article numbers (for commercial interfaces).
Delivery time:
Delivery time in days. Some control systems require this for stock control.
Job lot:
Packaging unit size. Some control systems require this for stock control.
Manufacturer's data:
Full name of manufacturer. Some control systems require this for stock control.
'Girder data' tab
Bottom boom area:
Bar cross sectional area of the bottom boom. This has to be defined if the girder is to be taken into account in the structural calculations.
Weight:
Weight per linear meter for calculating the quantities.
Increment:
These increments are used primarily for the rounding of the shear girder lengths to increments. In addition, the increment is taken into account in the plan view.
Girder height, width:
Height or width of the girder in [m]. Among other things, this is taken into account in the plan view.
Alpha1, Alpha2:
Angle between diagonal and bottom boom. These values are used for analyses in compliance with DIN 1045-1 and DIN EN. Alpha2 can be entered for shear girders only. In the case of other girder types, Alpha1 is always equivalent to Alpha2.
Bottom boom / top boom - steel grade:
Bar diameter and steel grade of the bottom booms and of the top boom.
Must be defined if the girder is to be taken into account in the structural calculations for the longitudinal reinforcement (half floors and double walls). In addition, the diameter is recognized by some control systems and can be used for displaying 3D views correctly in the CAD system.
Diagonal - steel grade:
Bar diameter and steel grade of the diagonal.
Required for analyzing data in compliance with DIN 1045-1 and DIN EN. In addition, the diameter is recognized by some control systems and can be used for displaying 3D views correctly in the CAD system.
Insertion mode:
manual/automatic (radio buttons)
The girders have a code that can show whether or not they can be produced automatically by a robot. Some control systems can recognize this code.
This setting is only required and analyzed by the IF generator on the BFT menu.
'->Wall assignment' tab
This selection is only available if you have selected the Wall entry on the ->Assignment tab.
Assignment of the individual entries to the wall types created with Wall Element Design This assignment is taken into account by the selection dialog boxes for lattice girders and by the automatic features for calculating the height of lattice girders.
The selected entry is applicable only to the selected components. If no component is selected, the entry is valid for all the components.
-'>Assignment' tab
Assignment of the individual entries to the appropriate components.
The selected entry is applicable only to the selected components. If no component is selected, the entry is valid for all the components.
'->Fact.' tab
Assignment of the individual entries to the relevant factories.
The selected entry is applicable to the selected factories. If no factory is selected, the entry is valid for all the factories.
