Place

Tool(s): Additional bars, freeform + Additional meshes, freeform

You can use the Place tool to place bar reinforcement or bent-up meshes. Different placing methods are available for this. You can select the marks either by clicking them or entering their numbers - in the latter case, the reinforcement type has to be specified in the input options.

To place freeform additional bars or meshes

1. Click Place in the Additional Bars, Freeform or Additional Bars, Freeform Context toolbar.
2. Select the mark to be placed by:
   • clicking a reinforcing bar or placed reinforcement, or
   • clicking an existing mesh in section or clicking reinforcement placed in view, or
   • entering the mark number after you have selected Meshes or Rebars in the input options.
3. Select a placing mode (the modes available vary depending on the reinforcement type selected):

   For reinforcing bars

   

   For meshes

   

   Click one of the placing modes above for more information.

4. Click OK to confirm and place the mark as required by the placing mode you have selected.
