Placing mode: in polygon

Tool(s): Additional Bars, Freeform - Place

To place freeform additional bars polygonally

1. Click the first and second point of the clipping line (all bar segments intersected by this line have variable dimensions).
2. Click the corners of the placement polygon.
3. Specify the direction for the benching value and enter a value.
4. Specify the mark's position for the placement.
   

   Orientation of mark

   • Click Align to adopt the basic orientation in space of the identified mark and to place the reinforcement in direct alignment.
   • Click Move to use the basic spatial orientation and to place the reinforcement along the placing line.
   • Click Rotated to rotate the bars using the selected placing angle. In addition, you can use the X, L and Y buttons to align the bars so that they are perpendicular to the placing line, or to align them in the x and y direction.
     The adopted spatial orientation is rotated in relation to the placing line.
5. Adjust the parameters for the position of the mark and click OK to confirm the settings.
6. Select the placing parameters.

   Note: In this placing mode, you cannot switch between series and custom placement. The defined placement region cannot be modified.

7. Click OK to confirm the settings. The placement is created.
8. Set the dimension line parameters and place the placement dimensioning.
   or
   click Cancel to skip dimensioning entirely.
9. Set the label parameters and place the placement label (you can define the text angle in advance), create the manual leader if required
   or
   click Cancel if you want to skip labeling.
10. When you have configured Allplan to create a layer symbol ( Options, Reinforcement, Labels page) and you have not yet placed this symbol along with the label, you can now select a layer symbol in the input options and click the drop-in point or a bar segment
    or
    you can skip layer marking by pressing ESC.
