Modify connections

Tool(s): Modify Design

To modify the connections of a wall

1. Click Modify Design (How).
   

   Activate Modify Design in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Precast Precast Wall

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Precast Wall

2. On the Context toolbar, click Connections. This selects the functions for modifying connections.

   Note: To modify a wall, you can also double-click the triangle symbol, which indicates the viewing direction, with the left mouse button or open the shortcut menu of the triangle symbol and select Properties. In this case, the function you selected the last time is automatically set for the selected design.
   Press ESC, if necessary, and select Connections.

3. The Connections tool offers you the following options:
   • Change the connection type.
   • Create a connection joint with a non-precast wall (in-wall junction for solid walls) manually.
   • Create an in-wall junction for a double wall manually.
     

Note:
Existing wall-column connections cannot be modified using the Connections tool. Behavior of wall-column connections when elements are moved, copied and deleted.
