Modify connection type

To modify the connection type

1. Click Modify Design (How).
   

   Activate Modify Design in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Precast Precast Wall

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Precast Wall

2. On the Context toolbar, click Connections. This enables the tools for modifying connections.

   Note: To modify a wall, you can also double-click the triangle symbol, which indicates the viewing direction, with the left mouse button or open the shortcut menu of the triangle symbol and select Properties. In this case, the function you selected the last time is automatically set for the selected design.
   Press ESC, if necessary, and select Connections.

3. Select Place Connections Manually in the Input options.
4. A search area is now displayed at the crosshairs. Click the connection to be modified.
5. Change the connection option by clicking the Previous / Next Option arrow keys.
6. You can also click the Name of Connection button. This opens a list in which you can access a connection type directly.
7. Click with the right mouse button in the workspace or click OK to confirm.
8. There are then different ways to proceed:
   • When you click , the program automatically adjusts the length of the individual leaves to the new connection.
   • You can also change the connection of every leaf manually. Either define the new leaf end of the selected wall leaf by clicking in the workspace or press ESC and enter the value by which the leaf is to be shortened in the dialog line. If necessary, you can do this for every wall leaf ending at the connection. Click to confirm the changes.
     

Note:
Joints placed manually in a wall and existing wall-column connections cannot be modified using the Connections tool.
