Managing users

Within a workgroup, the access rights of the individual users for the projects processed in the workgroup can be defined at various levels: Read and write permissions can be assigned from the project level down to individual drawing files and plans.

As the administrator of the workgroup, first create theAllplanusers intended for the workgroup via the Allplanuser administration. In this context, you grant the right to change the building structure of the projects in which a user is involved, among other things.

In order to efficiently manage the assignment of rights for accessing drawing files and plans, you can optionally define basic entitlement groups to which you assign the various rights. Then assign the users of the workgroup to the corresponding entitlement groups. The assigned users automatically receive the rights of the entitlement group when they are assigned.

InAllplan, you can also use the Open on a project-specific basis dialog box to specify in detail which users or user groups should have which access rights to the individual drawing files or plans.
