You can use this tool to start the Space Allocation Wizard straight from Allplan.

New

You can use this tool to empty the Space Allocation Wizard window in order to enter a new space allocation plan.

Open

You can use this tool to open a txt or xls file in the Space Allocation Wizard window.
When you open a space allocation plan (list) that you have exported to and modified in an external program, the existing rooms are updated (provided you create the rooms in the same drawing file).

Save / Save as

You can use this tool to save the contents of the Space Allocation Wizard window as a xls or txt file, which can be edited in an external program (Ms Excel or editor) and imported again.

Read rooms from drawing file

You can use this tool to enter Allplan data in the Space Allocation Wizard window. All the rooms in the selected drawing file are read. This data can be saved as xls or txt file using Save or Save as, modified in MS Excel or an editor, opened again and created in drawing files. When you open a space allocation plan (list) that you have exported to and modified in an external program, the existing rooms are updated (provided you create the rooms in the same drawing file).

You can use this tool to create the rooms displayed in the Space Allocation Wizard window in Allplan and to place them in the drawing file.

You can use this tool to add rooms to the room list displayed in the Space Allocation Wizard window.

Modify room

You can use this tool to modify the properties of the room clicked in the Space Allocation Wizard window.

Delete room

You can use this tool to delete the room clicked in the Space Allocation Wizard window.

Sort ascending / Sort descending

You can use this tool to sort the rooms displayed in the Space Allocation Wizard window by the column clicked.

Options

You can use this tool to define how rooms are placed in Allplan drawing files.

You can use the Arrangement tab to specify whether the rooms are placed individually or as a block.
When you have selected the Place rooms as a block option, you can define the distance between the individual rooms.

You can use the Display tab to select colors for rooms with known coordinates and for rooms which are placed using the crosshairs. In addition, you can specify whether an update report is displayed.
