You can set the parameters for the dimension lines in this dialog box.

Text instead of dim. text for equal sections (with Dimension Line only)
Absolute values (with Elevation Point only)

Format properties
Define the format properties ( Pen,
Line,
Color and
Layer) for the different components of the dimension line:
Dimension line, Extension lines, Symbol and Numbers/text
The settings you make apply to all the components of the dimension line (provided the Same for all elements check box is active for the setting in question).
Text tab
You can set the following parameters for Dimension text separately:
Font, Text height, Aspect (always select 1 for TrueType fonts; otherwise, they will be distorted), Bold (only for TrueType fonts), Italics and Underline.
Check text direction (with Dimension Line only)
Display numbers and text upside down (with Dimension Line only)
Offset of label to dimension line

Round-off value in mm or inches
Exponent format (for metric dim. text units)
Fraction (only for the US units ', " and inches)
"+" for positive values (only for Elevation Point)
"+" when zero (only for Elevation Point)
Input Options tab
No extension lines
When this option is selected, no extension lines are drawn.
Bounded by auxiliary polygon

Offset to reference point (only for Dimension Line)
The extension lines stretch so that they are at a set distance from the dimensioned point (reference point). You can enter the distance in Length in mm/inches.
To reference point (only for Elevation Point)
The extension lines are drawn as far as the reference point.
Predefined length
When you select this option, all extension lines get a fixed length and stretch towards the dimensioned points.
Length in mm/inches (model)
Depending on the setting, you can enter a value defining the Offset to reference point or the Predefined length of the extension lines.
Offset between dimension lines in mm/inches (paper) (only for Dimension Line)
Enter a value to define the offset between the dimension lines of a dimension block, for example.

Match parameters
You can copy the parameters of an existing dimension line into the dialog box and modify them, if necessary.

Click the arrow on the right to open a list with the 20 favorites you used last.
