Configurations for external programs
You can predefine up to 9 output channels (plotter) before starting an output module. If you only define one plotter, then no prompt is issued and the plotter is selected automatically. You can assign the following parameters separately to each plotter.
'General' tab
SignatureGrammal:
This user-definable text (max. 7 letters) appears in the plotter selection menu toolbar before the output program runs.
Driver name:
The name of the driver file (plotter definition file) to be used. The drivers are found in the \STD\BFT_PLOT folder and have the file extension *.plt. If the requested file does not exist, the program places some question marks at the selection instead of the SignatureGrammal. The driver name is to be entered without extensions (e.g. HPDESIGN for hpdesign.plt); the folder and extension are added automatically by the program.
Note:
Calcomp drivers require the driver name.CAL file in addition.
Output to:
Enter the printer port to which the output device is connected (e.g. LPT1). The output can also be printed to file, in which case you enter the file name or the path as appropriate (e.g. C:\VIR\dummy.plt).
Execute command before start:
Execute command after end:
Command sequences can be sent to the printer to set a certain emulation at the printer, for example. Memory resident programs are not to be used for this!
'Slab EPA' tab
Number of copies:
Default value for the number of copies for single slab schemas. This setting can be changed before the start of the program unless automatic start is enabled.

Scale:
Default character size for the slab elements. This setting can be changed before the start of the program unless automatic start is enabled.
MaxSize: this produces the largest possible representation of the elements without considering the scale. The program uses this setting automatically if you have entered a number for drawings in the x and y directions.
