Reinforcement for trimming

Tool(s): Additional Reinforcement

To place reinforcement for trimming

1. Click Additional Reinforcement (How).
   

   Activate Additional Reinforcement in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

2. On the Additional Reinforcement Context toolbar, click Reinforcement for Trimming.
3. Specify the presets for the reinforcement by switching the appropriate buttons.
4. Click OK to confirm the entries.
5. Specify in the Input options whether the placement should be manual or automatic.
6. Click
   • for manual placement - on the recess side at which the placement is to take place, or
   • for automatic placement - on the recess around which the reinforcement is to be placed.

     When you have selected manual placement, the reinforcement you have entered in the Additional Reinforcement Context toolbar is placed.

     When you have selected automatic placement, the settings in the Additional Reinforcement Context toolbar are used as presets; in other words, the maximum number of bars is displayed in the Nr box. When the number off value is exceeded, the program automatically uses the next higher diameter. The diameter with which the program starts is displayed in the Diameter box. The offset entered is used.

7. Click Properties, enter the parameters and confirm your entries.
8. You can set the placing parameters in the Additional Reinforcement Context toolbar.
9. Click OK to confirm the settings.

   The reinforcement is displayed. When you opt for automatic placement and the program cannot create the reinforcement (as, for example, the anchorage is not completely within the element), the relevant recess side is marked.

10. If you selected the Automatic Labeling On preset, then the program immediately gives the placement a label.
11. To create new reinforcement for trimming, repeat the process from step 5. To quit this entry, click Cancel.
