Modify divisions

Tool(s): Modify Design

To modify divisions for wall elements

1. Click Modify Design (How).
   

   Activate Modify Design in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Precast Precast Wall

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Precast Wall

2. Click Divisions in the Context toolbar. This enables the tools for modifying divisions.

   Note: To modify a wall, you can also double-click the triangle symbol, which indicates the viewing direction, with the left mouse button or open the shortcut menu of the triangle symbol and select Properties. In this case, the function you selected the last time is automatically set for the selected design.
   Press ESC, if necessary, and select Divisions.

3. Select a wall by clicking it on the screen.
4. Modify the divisions depending on the type of wall you selected:
   • With the exception of the Wall panel design mode, you can define division parameters for all the design modes in the Properties. The Context toolbar includes all the parameters that you require frequently. Select a division option, e.g Maximum element length.
   • Modify the horizontal division for the Wall panel design mode and click OK to confirm.
5. Set or delete points for division. You can also change the width of the joint, the maximum element weight and the starting value for the mark number.
6. Click with the right mouse button in the workspace or click OK to confirm the changes.

   The program designs the selected walls. If you modify elements to which marks have already been assigned, the program uses the old mark numbers again.
   Exception: modifications produce new elements. In this case, the new elements are assigned the next available mark number.
