‘Joint Section Parameters’ dialog box

Tool(s): Slab/roof element design, basic parameters + Modify Parameters, Basic Reinforcement

When designing a solid floor, you can make additional settings for the type and position of connecting joint sections.
You can define these parameters in the configurations, where you can also specify how the sections are displayed and labeled.

Select a predefined section in the list box. All the edges to which you assign the section are given the Smooth edge or Stop position attribute.
To assign this attribute to a panel edge without profiling, you need to define a "smooth" section in the joint section catalog and assign it here.

If you do not wish to use a section, click at the bottom of the dialog box.

Move inwards by support width

When you select this option, Allplan does not create a section in the area of the support.

Move inwards by

The section is shortened by the value specified. When the Move inwards by support width option is selected, the support width is also added.
