Static Supports

Precast Floor module

The Static Supports tool displays the static support lines graphically. The static support must be correctly defined for the static slab design calculations.

Notes:
If you additionally create an architectural slab on architectural walls, the program detects whether it is dealing with an exterior or interior wall and adopts a suitable support type (when creating the supports automatically).
To obtain a graphical representation of the static support lines, the Structural Analysis System on/off tool must be enabled in the Plan Display tool (How).

Activate Plan Display in one of the following ways

• Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor/Precast Wall

• Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

Precast Floor

Precast Wall

To create static supports

1. Click Static Supports (How).
   

   Activate Static Supports in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

2. Select Line Support or Point Support on the Context toolbar. There are then different ways to proceed, depending on your choice.
3. Press ESC to quit creating static supports.
