Create Static Supports – Point Supports

To create point supports
- Click
Static Supports (How). - Select
Point Supports on the Context toolbar. - You can create new point supports based on the parameters of existing line supports by clicking
. - To save settings as favorite files, click
Save Style. Enter a name. - If you wish to use already saved settings for your entries, click
Get Style. Select a file and confirm. - You can set various parameters on the Context toolbar.
- In the Input options you can select whether to set the static supports manually (Manu) or automatically (Auto).
- If you select ‘manual’, you can choose between circular or a rectangular supports on the Static Supports Context toolbar.
- Depending on the selected type, enter the dimensions of the support (circular: radius; rectangular: length and width) in the dialog line or on the Context toolbar.
- Press ENTER to confirm.
- Place the point support. If there is a column below the support placed, the shape, height, radius or length and width of this column are used to generate the support. Otherwise, the parameters you have set are used to place the support at the height of the default reference plane.
- The Auto option requires columns. Click the relevant column to create a support. If you want to create several supports, you can use the brackets tool or select the relevant columns by clicking the left mouse button (white-white). The height, shape, radius of width and length parameters of the column are used. The point supports are placed in the middle of the corresponding column.
- Go on to the next point support or finish with the tool by pressing ESC.
