Specifying layouts for the current package

Sending layouts and other files using Allplan Exchange (how to)

You can specify the layouts to be included in the current package in the Layout structure column on the left in the Allplan Exchange dialog box. This column displays all the layouts created for the current project. To make your work easier, you can sort and filter the layouts according to different criteria. If you have created a layout structure for the project, you can also display the layouts in accordance with this structure.

Choose the layouts you want to send by selecting the corresponding check boxes. This is similar to selecting drawing files in the building structure.

Important!
The selection you make always applies to all contacts in the current contact list. To exclude specific layouts from the distribution lists of individual contacts, you can use a layout filter (see "Setting a layout filter for contacts"). In addition, all the selected layouts are automatically saved with the defined formats in the folder specified for the Local file storage (see "Specifying defaults for local file storage and export").

Tip: In addition to Allplan layouts, you can include other files in the distribution lists of individual contacts or all contacts and send these files together with the layouts (see "Adding custom files").
