Choosing the layouts to be sent

Specifying layouts and files for the current package

The current layout selection is saved when you close Allplan Exchange and available again the next time you open the Allplan Exchange dialog box.

To add layouts to the distribution lists

• Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
  

  Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.

  • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
  • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

• Choose the layouts you want to send by selecting the relevant check boxes in the Layout structure area on the left. To send all the layouts of a structural level, select the check box of the corresponding structural level.

  The program adds the selected layouts to all contacts of the current contact list, taking into account the formats defined for the individual contacts (see "Specifying data formats for contacts").

  Tip: To exclude specific layouts from the distribution lists of individual contacts, you can use a layout filter (see "Setting a layout filter for contacts").

To remove layouts from the distribution lists

• Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.

• In the Layout structure area on the left, clear the check box(es) of the layout(s) you want to remove from the distribution lists. To remove all the layouts of a structural level, clear the check box of the structural level.

  The program removes the selected layouts from the distribution lists of all contacts of the current contact list.
