Filtering the layout structure

Specifying layouts and files for the current package

You can apply a filter to the layout structure so that only the layouts whose names contain a specific character string are displayed.

To filter the layout structure

• Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
  

  Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.

  • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
  • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

1. Click Find layout name on the upper toolbar of the Allplan Exchange dialog box.

   The layout structure and toolbar disappear while the box for entering the search term opens.

2. Type in the character string according to which you want to filter the layout structure.

   Note: The layout names are filtered based on the character string specified. The position of this character string within the layout name is irrelevant.

   The layout structure displayed is automatically filtered according to the current character string, which changes with each character you enter.
