Placing PEIKKO fixture

You can use the Place PEIKKO Fixture tool to select a fixture and place it as you require.

Drop-in points of fixtures

To place a fixture

1. Click Place PEIKKO Fixture (How).
   

   Activate Place PEIKKO Fixture in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Products, Producers PEIKKO

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   PEIKKO

2. Read the software agreement, which you can suppress after you have selected this tool for the first time, and click OK.
   

   You can use the tools in the modules of the Products, Manufacturers family to place fixtures that are provided by the individual manufacturers. Allplan GmbH does not assume any responsibility for these fixtures.
   Fixtures are placed automatically based on the results of the calculation program provided by the relevant manufacturer.

   More details are provided in the software agreement.

   This software agreement opens whenever you select a tool in the modules of the Products, Manufacturers family. To hide the software agreement, select the Do not show this dialog box in future option.
   

   Note: When you use the cleanstd hotline tool (on the Service menu in the Services application) to restore Allplan's default values, the software agreement will appear again.

   The Selection of Articles dialog box is displayed. First choose a catalog and then select a fixture. You can use the PEIKKO Homepage tool to update the existing fixtures.
   Clicking a manufacturer in the tree view displays information on this manufacturer in the right pane. Click Options ... to specify whether the Selection name or the Company name is displayed in the tree view.

   Note: Special types can be defined for anchor plates and punching shear reinforcement; special lengths can be supplied for anchor bolts.

   

   In addition to the standard anchor bolts with fixed lengths, special anchor bolts are available on request.

   Taking the limits given into account, you can freely define the length l1 for anchor bolts HPM/P Special type and PPM/P Special type.

   

   In addition to standard fixtures, special elements for anchor plates and punching shear reinforcement are available on request.

   Anchor plates

   Taking the limits given into account, you can freely define the length and width of the plate as well as the number of the bolts and the spacing between them. This applies for all three types of anchor bolts. But the thickness of the plate as well as the length and diameter of the bolts can only be entered using fixed values. Please note that the values defining the length and diameter of the bolts are mutually dependent.

   After you have confirmed the parameters, Allplan checks the edge-to-edge offset of the bolts and creates the anchor plate.

   Punching shear reinforcement

   Taking the limits given into account, you can freely define the height, number and spacing between the anchors as well as the values by which the baseboard projects. But you can only select fixed values to define the diameters of the anchors. The length of the baseboard is calculated from the values you enter for the overlap and spacing

3. Click OK to confirm the selection and place the fixture.
   The input options provide a number of tools you can use to do this.
4. Set the label's text parameters before you specify the drop-in point. The settings you make are valid until you place the next fixture.
5. Enter the angle of rotation at the keyboard.
6. Define the label’s drop-in point.
   

Note: You can use the Replace Fixtures tool in the Fixtures module to replace PEIKKO fixtures already placed with other PEIKKO fixtures. You cannot replace fixtures with fixtures of different manufacturers or with user-defined fixtures.
