Module(s): General: Roofs, Planes, Sections
You use Custom Planes to define local pairs of reference planes. These planes (there are always two: the upper plane and the lower plane) can be inclined at any angle and have the height that you assign to them. Custom reference planes have priority over the default reference planes.
To define custom planes, enter three points or specify two points and the angle of inclination. A distinction is made between between definition points and construction points:
Note: Open the Options - Planes page - Roof planes, custom planes area: using the Default setting, you can choose to display custom planes with fixed format properties. Otherwise, Allplan uses the settings on the Format toolbar.
What do you want to do?
Enter a pair of custom reference planes consisting of parallel horizontal planes
Enter a pair of custom reference planes consisting of parallel inclined planes
Enter a pair of custom reference planes consisting of two inclined planes
Additional tools for creating planes:
Note: The following tool only applies to pairs of reference planes created with the Custom Planes tool: Modify Planes (How).
Note: You can use the Modify Roof Frame tool to modify planes created with
Roof Frame.
