Pair of custom reference planes consisting of parallel horizontal planes

To enter a pair of custom reference planes consisting of parallel horizontal planes

1. Click Custom Planes (How).
   

   Activate Custom Planes in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

2. Click Properties and enter the following parameters for the custom pair of reference planes.
   • Specify the height of the upper custom reference plane.
     Click Absolute elevation, plane parallel to datum level and enter the absolute height or click Set component height, plane parallel to the other plane and enter the offset to the lower custom reference plane.
   • Specify the height of the lower custom reference plane.
     Click Absolute elevation, plane parallel to datum level and enter the absolute height or click Set component height, plane parallel to the other plane and enter the offset to the upper custom reference plane.

     

     (A) Upper plane
     (B) Lower plane
     (C) Datum level

3. Enter a polygon (as construction points) to define the outline of the pair of reference planes as you would a polyline.

   Architectural elements associated with and delimited by them (in plan) will automatically adjust to the new heights imposed by the planes. (This does not apply to elements whose heights were defined as absolute values.)
