'General' tab
Created on:
Date of creation of the data record.
Last modified:
The most recent modification date.
Name:
You can enter any name. This name is displayed in the Type list box of the basic parameters for slab element design if the Description box is empty. This way, you can enter a short name for the catalog and a detailed description for the design.
Description:
You can enter any name. This name is displayed in the Type list box of the basic parameters for slab element design.
Slab thickness:
The standard value for slab thickness.
Concrete topping:
Thickness of concrete layer placed over the bricks.
Dead weight:
Weight of panel including the bricks in [to/m2]. The program uses this value to calculate the weight based on the length and width of the panel.
Rib width (for calculation only):
Value for structural calculations using the Italian SolCalc calculation program.
'Panel lengths/girders' tab
Round off element length: Use half bricks:
When you select this check box, the program also uses element widths of which the specified brick is divided (halved) in the middle.
Girder type:
Selection box of the lattice girder catalog. Only lattice girders of the Baseboard girder type are presented for selection.
Round off girder length:
Lattice girder lengths are rounded up to this value.
Brick leaf for girder:
Brick type 1 / 2:
The brick leaf for the girder is created from the best combination of the references to the brick /tile catalog specified for Brick type 1 and Brick type 2. Only slab bricks of the Brick with baseboard - flat type are presented for selection.
'Panel widths' tab
Dimensions:
At least one entry must be of the Entire panel type. An entire "slab element" always consists of girder(s) (single or double girder) + series of bricks. In addition, you need to enter all possible fitted panel widths. Fitted panels consist of one brick or one girder. If, for example, a placing region requires several girders to be placed side by side at its start or end, the program will place them automatically. You do not need to enter a fitted panel with two, three or more girders.
The program tries to create a valid design based on these entries, the support adjustment between the minimum and maximum support, the variant selected for the start and end of the design and the in-situ concrete fitted panel alternative.
'Cross ribs' tab
Brick type:
Selection box of the brick/tile catalog. These bricks are used for the cross ribs that are created automatically if need be. Only bricks of the Suspended brick - flat type are presented for selection.
You can use the Change Hollow Blocks/Concrete Strips/Filling Objects/Bricks tool to modify the bricks. You can define how bricks are displayed in the brick/tile catalog.
Offsets
You can define cross ribs to be created automatically in accordance with the element length. The width of the ribs is defined by the number of bricks. The number of bricks is determined by the absolute value for the rib spacing (Absolute spacing type) or by the 1/nth of length spacing type. Use the Spacing value box to enter the absolute value in [mm] or the value n.
Reinforcement
These entries are intended for future use (automatic creation of cross rib reinforcement). They have no effect at the moment.
'->Fact.' tab
Assignment of the individual entries to the relevant factories.
The selected entry is applicable to the selected factories. If no factory is selected, the entry is valid for all the factories.
