You can use this to write text at an angle. You can define the angle either by clicking a line with which the text is to be aligned or by entering the angle as a numerical value.

Leader

You can use this to draw a leader from the text to an element in the drawing.

Text with Numbering

You can use this tool to place text which is numbered automatically. You can define the format, reference value and increment value for the numbering.

Place Info on Document as a Label

You can place information on the current document as a label in the workspace.

Text to Bar-Code

You can use this tool to place the text you enter as a bar-code.

Use

Edit Text

You can use this tool to edit the contents of text lines and paragraph text. If you only want to modify individual text lines or paragraphs, you can also activate the tool via the shortcut menu.

Change Text Parameters

You can use this tool to change the parameters of text lines and paragraph text. If you only want to modify individual text lines or paragraphs, you can also activate the tool via the shortcut menu.

Anchor Point

You can use this tool to set or move an anchor point for text and to delete existing anchors. Use this option when you want your text to be placed at a constant offset from a specific point in your drawing. Whenever the point is moved, the text will move accordingly. You might use this tool to position text at a constant offset from the corner of a layout prior to printing.

Fit and Resize

You can use this tool to move or resize text lines or paragraph text.

Resize Text

You can use this tool to resize text in the X and Y direction by specifying a factor. The text's reference point serves as the fixed point for the operation.

Find and Replace

You can use this tool to replace single characters or character strings in text.

Change case

You can use this tool to change the case of text – from lowercase to uppercase and vice versa.

Explode Paragraph

You can use this tool to resolve paragraph text into discrete, single lines of text.

Text Lines to Paragraph

You can use this tool to combine several horizontal lines of text to a paragraph. The current text parameters apply. You can specify whether to replace or retain the original text lines.

Several lines of text are combined into one item in a paragraph text. The spacing between the lines in paragraph text is always correct, regardless of reference scale.

Align Text

You can use this tool to align text left, right or horizontally. The texts are aligned with the one furthest left, furthest right, at the top or at the bottom.

Delete Text Line

You can use this tool to delete single lines of text in paragraph text.
