Assign tables or formulas to a variable at the individual station points of the subdivided girder

Tables or formulas are assigned (analogously to the cross sections) in front and behind each station point in order to allow for instance jumps in the variation curve.

Note: The tables and formulas to be assigned must be defined in relation to the station type selected in Stationing. Further, when assigning the table/formula to the variable, you must refer to the respective internal variable ($s, $sl, $sr, $se).

• Value

Display of the calculated value at this position

Note: Note the behavior in regard to the calculation of the transition between directly assigned values in the expression when using intermediate stations - see note for the calculation option Skip intermediate stations.

To assign a table to a variable

• Drag the desired table from the menu Variations with drag&drop to a certain field of the column of the variable to assign the table to the variable at this station.

  Or:

  Drag the table to the header (name of the variable) of the column of the variable to assign it to all stations.

  In both cases, a dialog window opens up in which you must define the definition type of the stations (x-axis) of the table to be assigned: Global ($s), Local ($sl), Relative ($sr) or Local-End ($se). Also see Stationing and Variations.

• Alternatively, you may assign a table or formula at individual stations by selecting it from the drop-down menu of the respective fields. At the same time it is also possible to extend the expression with mathematical formulations (analogously to the description in Define Formulas).
• You can also mark one or several lines (shift key) and copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) them.
• Further, you can copy (drag & fill) one or several marked lines to an arbitrary number of consecutive lines (in the same pattern). To do so, first mark the wished line or lines which you want to copy to the consecutive lines. Then click the small dark blue box at the bottom right corner of the selection box and drag it over the wished lines.
