Variation

Assign tables or formulas to a variable at the individual station points of the subdivided girder

Tables or formulas are assigned (analogously to the cross sections) in front and behind each station point in order to allow for instance jumps in the variation curve.

Table Variation

Global Station / Local Station

List of station points due to the subdivision defined in Stationing (global an local definition).

Side

BACK/FRONT: Position in front of respectively behind the respective station point

Var1, Var2, …

List of all variables used in the assigned cross section

Assignment of a table or formula to a variable (see instructions below)

Note: The tables and formulas to be assigned must be defined in relation to the station type selected in Stationing. Further, when assigning the table/formula to the variable, you must refer to the respective internal variable ($s, $sl, $sr, $se).

Display of the calculated value at this position

Note: Note the behavior in regard to the calculation of the transition between directly assigned values in the expression when using intermediate stations - see note for the calculation option Skip intermediate stations.

To assign a table to a variable

Syntax for the use of tables and formulas in the assignment to variables:

Use of a table

Table (name)

Tab1

Usage

Tab1($s), Tab1($sl), Tab1($sr), Tab1($se)

where $s, $sl, $sr, $se are the internal variables for the global, local, relative and "local-end" stationing

Use of a formula

Formula (name)

Form1

Usage

Form1()

For assigning variables to parametric lines see Variables.
