Cross Sections

To generate a new cross section

1. Click with the right mouse button on the menu Cross Sections to open the context menu and select the menu point New.

   A new cross section is created in the navigation tree.

2. Optionally edit the name and confirm with the enter key.

   Simultaneously, a submenu point is automatically created for the Variables used in this cross section.

3. Select the cross section in the navigation tree for working on it.

   In accordance with the selection the program also opens the view window for graphical presentation of the cross section.

The definition of the cross section is done by using the respective task areas in the task/tab Cross Section in the Actionbar.
