Property Sets

This menu only contains definitions for structural analysis. These are irrelevant for the geometric model.

Property sets are used to make additional definitions for the calculation model on the cross-section.

The Property Sets include:

Property sets are always assigned to a specific structural unit of the cross-section.

In the subordinate structure level of the Property sets main menu, all structural units defined in the cross-section (of the bar or composite type) are listed with their corresponding numbers as submenus. These each contain all property sets assigned to this structural unit.

The shortcut menu in the Property Sets menu or the menu for a specific Structural unit can be used to create a New property set for a specific type (by selecting the same), where initially the input window which opens up must be selected to define the name and also the desired structural unit (which is already preselected to this effect in the second case).

Once selected, the property sets created can be edited and defined as usual via the Properties window (for details, see also the link in the line below).

The geometric definitions of a specific property set (selected in the tree and therefore active) are made using the corresponding drawing tools in the Property sets task area in the Actionbar - see Actionbar/Cross-section/Property sets.

The List of property sets menu item in the shortcut menu of the Property sets menu displays all created property sets in a table in the viewport, where they can be edited.
