Creating a new view type

View types for displaying models

In addition to the predefined ones, you can define and save your own view types.

To create a new view type

1. On the Viewport Toolbar, open the View Type list box.
2. Click New view type.

   The View type palette opens.

3. Enter a Name for the new view type.
4. Select a Rendering method:
   • Wireframe
   • Hidden
   • Shaded
   • Sketch
   • RT_Render

     You can see the basic settings for the selected rendering method.

5. Define the settings for the selected rendering method.
6. If you want, you can specify a Post process.
7. Click Close.

   The new view type is saved and can be selected from the View Type list box as well as from the View Type menu command.

   Note: You can only delete view types you defined yourself.

   Tip: Save the new view type as a Favorite too.
