Reinforcement type catalog, double/solid wall

Module(s): Catalogs

'General' tab

Created on:

Date of creation of the data record.

Last modified:

The most recent modification date.

Name:

User-defined name, which is displayed in the design process and in the list box of the Wall reinforcement configuration.

Description:

User-defined name that can be included in labels for element plans or lists/schedules (not yet implemented).

Search criterion:

By entering a search criterion for reinforcement parameters in the design tool, you can filter the reinforcement types. This enables you e.g., to use just reinforcement types complying with a search criterion "M".

Girder spacing arrangement:

Axis spacing:

Axis spacing for girders.

Slab edge distance:

Standard edge distance to the longer leaf. This value is the main one used. However, you should also consider using the Edge distance to the shorter leaf or Edge distance to the longer leaf boxes in the configurations for wall programs. The values you enter are limits that should not be reduced in any circumstances. This feature will be most useful for corner connection details involving thick walls.

Opening edge distance:

Edge distance to openings.

minimum opening height / minimum opening width:

You specify the minimum size of opening to have a girder placed to its left and right. If an opening is smaller than this limiting size, then it is ignored for the purposes of girder distribution.

'Visible' tab

The values you enter here apply

'Hidden' tab

The values you enter here apply

The following applies for both tabs:

as total: [cm² /m]

Cross sectional area for all reinforcement. The program searches the reinforcement types for this value, if you reinforce according to "as". If you do not reinforce according to as-Value but select the reinforcement type as per the drawing, then any entry in this field can be suppressed. You can have the cross sectional area calculated automatically by clicking the Calculator symbol at the bottom edge of the tab. (The symbol is disabled if the current data record was not altered).

Mesh:

Selection box for the mesh catalog.
The program automatically rotates the diagonals of the meshes in the hidden reinforcement layer.

as long/transv.: [cm² /m]

Cross sectional area of longitudinal or transverse reinforcement. You can have the cross sectional area calculated automatically by clicking the Calculator symbol at the bottom edge of the tab. (The symbol is disabled if the current data record was not altered).

Longitudinal bars:

Selection box for the diameter catalog. You can specify up to 2 longitudinal bar diameters (layers) for the reinforcement in a panel.

Cross bars:

Selection box for the diameter catalog. You can specify up to 2 cross bar diameters (layers) for the reinforcement in a panel. The first layer is mostly used for spacers (see NC generator configuration), the second to place the required amount of cross bar reinforcement.

Distribution:

Offsets or pattern of the bars. This is mainly entered with edge offset and distribution parameters (e.g., 50,200*60 = 50mm edge offset, then 200mm up to 60 times). You can enter a reference letter for the filling mode (pattern): the formula fills a data entry field, which has a limit of 200 entries. You can also have a maximum of 200 bars per layer. If the formula exceeds 200 entries, then the placement does not fill the panel. (For example: 30.50*199 places cross bars up to max. 9.98m (199*5 +3cm edge offset). A 10.5m long panel would be too long).

N: (normal): (does not have to be specified) start of placement from one side to the end of the panel.

S: (symmetrical): start of placement from middle outward to both sides.

K: (edge): start of placement first from one side to the middle and then from the other side to the middle.

Z: number of bars between the girders. The number must be less than 10.

U: number of bars under the girders. The number must be less than 10 and entered as a negative value.

Examples of bar distribution

The values must be separated by commas.

The first number shows the edge offset or first offset; the other numbers indicate the spacing between axes. Enter * to multiply. Parentheses are also supported.

You have to enter a total for the number of bars such that the maximum panel width or length can be fully covered. It does not matter if you have too many repetitions, because at the panel end the placement is just terminated.

'->Fact.' tab

Assignment of the individual entries to the relevant factories.

The selected entry is applicable to the selected factories. If no factory is selected, the entry is valid for all the factories.
