Smart detail symbols for external single panel schemas

Module(s): Single Panel Schema + Pallet Plan

To create smart detail symbols for an external single panel schema of slab elements

1. The smart symbols are created in Allplan. Draw 2D lines and arcs and place text. Then save these design entities as smart symbols to the Library. When creating smart symbols, please note that text in external single panel schemas will be longer, as the character width is fixed.
2. Then select the Edit Element tool (How) and open the Library. Select the smart symbol and place it in the current drawing file.
   

   Activate Edit Element in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor/Precast Wall/Structural Precast Units

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

   Precast Wall

   Structural Precast Units

3. Select the Production Planning module and and create a project file.
4. Start the external ALLPLAN Production Planning Precast Concrete Units program and select SLAB.
5. Select the project just created under ProjSel. Click END.
6. Click 2D_EPA (single panel schema). Select panels. Click NEXT.
7. Make settings. Click NEXT.
8. Click START. The selected slab elements and the smart symbols created are displayed.
