Special loads

Precast Floor module

In addition to the standard loads (dead weight, imposed load), which you can define using the Design tool (Create menu) tool, you also have further options for entering area, line and point loads using the Special Loads tool. These loads are taken into account in static calculations.

To define special loads acting on slab and roof elements

1. Click Special Loads (How).
   

   Activate Special Loads in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

2. On the Context toolbar click Define Load Case.
3. After you have defined the load cases, you can create the following special loads:

   Point load

   Line load

   Area load

   For more information on creating one of the loads listed above, click the relevant load.

4. To delete loads you have entered, click Delete Loads.
5. Click Cancel to complete your entry.
