Define load case

Tool(s): Special Loads + Modify Special Loads

To define a load case

  1. Click Special Loads (How).
  2. Click Define Load Case on the Special Loads Context toolbar.
  3. The program displays a dialog box of all the load cases. Select a load case and define the parameters.

    The following options are available:

    Load case

    Load case name

    Load factor

    Load case display

    Load type

    To find out more about an attribute, click on it.

  4. You can switch the load label and the load case view on or off by clicking.
  5. Click the Delete button to delete a load case.
  6. Click OK to quit load case definition.

Note:
If you have set the Load case label and Load case view to on, the loads and their labels are still visible when you quit the Special Loads tool.
