Allplan Exchange dialog box

The Allplan Exchange Upload dialog box (How) provides information on the status of the packages you are currently uploading as well as information on all packages that have not been uploaded completely.

Activate the Allplan Exchange Upload dialog box in one of the following ways

• Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
  

  Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.

  • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
  • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
• The Release Allplan Exchange when sending option is selected (Settings, File storage and export tab)

• Menu bar: ---

• Toolbar: ---
• Palette: ---
• Button: Start or Send at bottom right
• Shortcut menu: ---

In addition, you can stop the current upload process or resume a process you have stopped before. When you stop a process, you can check all the files of the packages that have not been uploaded completely and, if necessary, delete individual packages.

Important!
This dialog box only opens after the export when you have selected the Release Allplan Exchange when sending option in the Settings dialog box on the File storage and export tab.

Name

Information on sending is divided into four hierarchic levels:

Sending files started on ...

The first level in the hierarchy shows the individual packages including information on the date, time, sender and destination project in Allplan Exchange Web.

You can Show or Hide the layouts combined in a package.

Using Cancel you can stop the current process of uploading data. The associated export files are deleted from the temporary folder.

Layout number and name

The second level in the hierarchy shows the layouts combined in the relevant package, including information on the numbers and names assigned to the layouts using the Layout module in Allplan.

You can Show or Hide the name specified for the export files of a layout and the data formats selected.

Export file

The third level in the hierarchy shows the individual export files with the file name specified for a layout in the data formats selected.

You can Show or Hide the contacts selected for an export file.

Contact

The fourth level in the hierarchy shows the contacts selected for each export file.

File size

In the Export file line only: shows the size of the export file.

Progress

In the Export file line only: shows the upload status.

Buttons

Stop / Continue

Stops the current upload process or resumes a process you have stopped before.

Important!
When you have selected the Release Allplan Exchange when sending option (Settings dialog box, File storage and export tab) and you have stopped an upload process, a package you have started sending in the Export dialog box will not be sent until you click Continue in the Allplan Exchange Upload dialog box.
