Using this tab, you can define how the elements making up the SmartParts for Sectional doors, Up and over doors and Lifting doors look in 2D.

2D representation tab

Format

Layer: select the layer on which you want to place the design entities of the SmartPart in 2D. The AR_SEC layer is set by default.

Format from Layer: when you select this option, the settings for pen, line type and color are taken from the selected layer.

Pen / Line type / Color: when Format from Layer is not selected, you can choose the pen, line type and color.

Opening symbol

Show: when you select this option, the opening symbol is displayed in 2D and you can select the following parameters.

Layer: select the layer on which you want to place the door swing of the SmartPart in 2D. The AR_SWING layer is set by default.

Format from Layer: when you select this option, the settings for pen and line type are taken from the selected layer.

Pen / Line type: when Format from Layer is not selected, you can choose the pen and line type.

Level of detail

You can define the scale ranges of three predefined 2D views for the SmartPart. You can associate specific scale ranges with specific views. To exclude a view, clear the relevant check box.

Note: The ToolTip of the SmartPart always shows the layer you selected on the Format toolbar when you created the SmartPart. This layer includes the instance of the SmartPart. But the elements that make up the SmartPart are on the layers you assigned to them in 2D and 3D.
