'Material Definition' dialog box

Tool(s): Wall element design, basic parameters

You can define parameters for wall design depending on the wall thickness. To do this, you can use the table.
By default, the table always includes a column that is initially empty. You can add more columns by clicking Add. To delete existing columns, select the columns and click Remove.

If the program cannot find a material definition for the selected wall thickness during design, it displays a relevant message. The bricks themselves are not created.
When modifying, you can only see the material definitions of the selected walls.

Position

This parameter shows the consecutive number of the material definition. When you add a new column, this value is not updated until you click OK to confirm the dialog box.

Thickness

Specify the wall thickness to which the subsequent parameters are to apply. This column is arranged in the table on the left in accordance with the thickness specified.

Material

Select an entry in the brick/tile catalog. The list box includes all the entries that can be used as Wall bricks and that are assigned to the current factory.
Please note that the program does not check whether the selected brick matches the thickness specified.

Grid dimension

Specify the value for the grid dimension when the bricks are placed. The program uses this value when you select the To next grid point setting for moving the lifting bolts.

Offset of lifting bolts to edge

Specify the edge offset for the grid dimension you just defined. This is the place where the program creates the first lifting bolt (provided you select the To next grid point setting for moving the lifting bolts).

Note: You can use Save as a favorite to save the settings. With Load favorite, you can read the settings back into the palette, where you can then modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently.
