To delete a layout index

• The Layout Attributes dialog box (How) is open
  

  Activate the Layout Attributes dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.

  • Menu bar: Create Layout Layout and Project Attributes

  • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Layout and Project Attributes
  • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s): Layout Layout and Project Attributes
  • Button: ---
  • Shortcut menu: ---

  Or:

  • The Layout module is open.
  • Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
    

    Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

    • The Layout module is open.

    • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

    • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
    • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Menu bar: ---

  • Toolbar: ---
  • Palette: ---
  • Button: Layout and project attributes (at bottom left)
  • Shortcut menu: ---

1. If the Index attributes table is not displayed, click Show index table on the upper toolbar of the Layout Attributes dialog box.

   You can find the index table below the Layout attributes table in the area on the right.

2. Please note the following when you are working in a workgroup environment:
   Lock the layout for which you want to delete an index so that it cannot be accessed by other users. To do this, click Lock Layout in the Layout attributes table so that the symbol changes to Layout is locked.

   Or, if the layout is already locked:

   Select the layout for which you want to delete a layout index in the Layout attributes table. Only one layout can be selected at any one time.

   Note: If a layout is marked with the Layout is locked by another user symbol, the indexes of this layout cannot be edited at the moment. You have to wait until the user in question releases the layout.

3. Using the right moue button, click the layout index you want to delete in the Index attributes table and select Remove layout index on the shortcut menu.
