Working with the "Index attributes" table

Defining and managing layout index attributes / Layout Attributes dialog box

You can do the following in the Index attributes table:

Showing and hiding the "Index attributes" table

To make things more apparent on screen, you can show and hide the Index attributes table as you want.

To show and hide the "Index attributes" table

• Click Show index table or Hide index table on the upper toolbar of the Layout Attributes dialog box.

or:

• Drag the bar delimiting the "Layout index attributes" table up or down.

or:

• Within this bar, click or .

This shows or hides the index table, which you can find below the Layout attributes table in the area on the right.

Selecting columns

Except for the Index type and Index columns, you can show and hide the individual columns in the Index attributes table.

To show and hide columns

• The Layout Attributes dialog box (How) is open
  

  Activate the Layout Attributes dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.

  • Menu bar: Create Layout Layout and Project Attributes

  • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Layout and Project Attributes
  • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s): Layout Layout and Project Attributes
  • Button: ---
  • Shortcut menu: ---

  Or:

  • The Layout module is open.
  • Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
    

    Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

    • The Layout module is open.

    • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

    • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
    • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Menu bar: ---

  • Toolbar: ---
  • Palette: ---
  • Button: Layout and project attributes (at bottom left)
  • Shortcut menu: ---
• The Index attributes table is displayed

1. Click in the table with the right mouse button.
2. The shortcut menu opens. Choose the columns you want to include in the table by clicking the relevant entries.
3. Click anywhere outside the shortcut menu.

   The table updates in accordance with the settings you have specified.

Defining the sequence of columns

Except for the Index type and Index columns, you can rearrange the columns within the Index attributes table.

To change the column sequence

• The Layout Attributes dialog box (How) is open
• The Index attributes table is displayed

1. Click the column you want to move and keep the mouse button held down.
2. Now drag the column to the new position and release the mouse button.
