Tools on the View menu for controlling on-screen display
Using Rotated Plan View, you can turn the screen contents about their center point. This tool turns only the display; it has no effect on the coordinates. You can use this tool only in conjunction with plan view in the current viewport.
If you enter a positive angle, Allplan will turn the display in a counter-clockwise direction. To restore the original display, select this tool again and set the angle back to 0 degrees.
Rotating the screen contents changes the system angle. If, for example, you are rotating the plan view by 45 degrees, the system angle is set to -45 degrees. Please note that the system angle is a global setting, i.e. it changes in all the viewports. If, for example, you use Previous View to restore the original view or select a predefined arrangement or click Save, Load View to load a rotated section you saved previously, the system angle will not be reset to its original value.
When you create text in rotated plan view, its direction depends on the setting for Consider system angle in the Text module's Options:

Note: If you want to work with the rotated plan view in each viewport throughout a project, you can specify a Project angle for rotated plan view in the Project Settings dialog box.
