Insulation material catalog

Module(s): Catalogs

'General' tab

Created on:

Date of creation of the data record.

Last modified:

The most recent modification date.

Name:

You can enter any name. This name is displayed in the Material list box on the Insulation tab of the panel type catalogs for (prestressed) hollow core elements, in the Name list box in the Filling Objects, Spreader Ribs dialog box when you design half floors and brick slabs with filling objects and in the Material list box of the insulating layer when you design thermal walls.

Description:

User-defined name that can be included in labels for element plans or lists/schedules.

Material / Density / Thermal conductivity:

The entry you make for the Density is used for calculating the weight of the elements. The entries for Material and Thermal conductivity are intended for future use and have no effect at the moment.

Manufacturer's data:

Full name of manufacturer. Some control systems require this for stock control.

'Production' tab

The following settings are taken into account when production data and lists are created.

Surface fixture for the layer:

You can assign a surface fixture from the fixture catalog to the insulation material. This assignment is essential if you want to transfer the insulation material to production. Select a fixture in the list box.

Create linear fixture at wall end when insulation applied around corner (for thermal wall):

If the insulating layer is applied around the corner of a thermal wall, the insulation protrudes beyond the element. If you do not want to transfer this corner strip as a surface fixture to production, select this option and choose a linear fixture of the fixture catalog in the list box.

'Placement' tab

Depending on the element type, the dimensions defined are interpreted as follows:

Thickness

You can use Fixed value to define a fixed thickness and Region to define a variable thickness.

Length/Width

When you select the Define dimensions option, the values specified for the Length, Width, Minimum length and Minimum width are used as fixed dimensions for the filling objects of half floors and brick slabs. In this case, the insulation material is placed as individual boards for (prestressed) hollow core elements.

If you want to define the length and width of the filling objects when designing or modifying half floors and brick slabs, make sure that the Define dimensions option is not selected. In this case, the program creates an insulating board with the dimensions of the precast element for (prestressed) hollow core elements.

'Display' tab

The following display options are only used for hollow core elements, prestressed hollow core elements and thermal walls. For half floors and brick slabs with filling objects, the settings made in the configurations are used to display the filling objects.

Line display

You can make settings for the Pen, Line and Color. These settings are used to display the insulation material.

As defined in general settings: the settings on the Format toolbar are used.

Settings from donor component: the settings of the component are used.

Custom definition: the settings you make for the Pen, Line and Color on this tab are used.

Section display

You can specify whether a Hatching style, Pattern or Fill is applied to the insulation material in sections.

To select a surface element, select the relevant check box, click in the box and select the surface element you want to use. To switch a surface element off, clear the relevant check box. If all check boxes are cleared, surface elements are not displayed.

Note: In addition to a fill, you can also select a hatching style or pattern; in this case, the fill is used for the background color.

-'>Assignment' tab

Assignment of the individual entries to the appropriate components.

The selected entry is applicable only to the selected components. If no component is selected, the entry is valid for all the components.

'->Fact.' tab

Assignment of the individual entries to the relevant factories.

The selected entry is applicable to the selected factories. If no factory is selected, the entry is valid for all the factories.
