Use

Tip: To import files, you can also drag them from Windows Explorer into Allplan. In this case, Allplan will use the current settings.

Import Reinforcement

You can use this tool to import reinforcement drawings created with the FRILO Software programs for continuous beams, foundations and reinforced concrete columns.

Import FEA Files

You can use this tool to import files of various FEA programs into Allplan.
You can display the data in these files as an aid during reinforcement work using the Reinforcement Contours tool. You can also use the FEA data for interactive generation of reinforcement with FEA Reinforcement Color Image.
In addition, the data can serve as the basis for automatic area reinforcement in the Bar Reinforcement module and for creating reinforcement using the BAMTEC technology. If the FEA program's interfaces meet the advanced requirements, you can also use the data for punching shear analyses in the HALFEN-DEHA module. The advantage of this approach is that the program automatically increases the tension reinforcement required.

Import PDF Data

You can use this tool to import 2D and 3D PDF files to the current Allplan document. Lines, text, bitmap areas, layers and 3D solids are imported.

The imported PDF data can serve as the basis for your work (for example, site plans). You can also import details or parts of catalogs published in PDF format.

Import IFC Data

You can use this tool to import an IFC™ file of version 2. Allplan’s IFC interface was certified by buildingSMART. The IFC interface allows you to transfer geometric data and a number of attributes.

Export IFC Data

You can use this tool to export an IFC™ file of version 2. Allplan’s IFC interface was certified by buildingSMART. The IFC interface allows you to transfer geometric data and a number of attributes.

Export CPIXML Data

You can use this tool to export data from Allplan to the CPIXML format.

	Import	You can use this tool to import a large number of file types into Allplan. The transfer process can be optimized by making detailed configuration and assignment settings. With the ODX interfaces you can convert files from and to numerous formats. The following overview shows the file types that can be exported and imported. The file types that are actually available to you depend on the configuration you have purchased. The following file types are available: AutoCAD files of versions V12, 2000, 2004, 2007, 2010 in the following formats: .dwf, .dwg, .dwt, .dxb, .dxf DXF (Drawing EXchange Format) is a special file format. DXF files are ASCII files containing all the information concerning a drawing in a format that can be utilized or further processed by other programs. Thus, among other things, DXF files can additionally be used to exchange drawings between various CAD systems. Allplan offers several functions in the Interfaces module for producing data as a DXF file or for reading a DXF file. DXB (Drawing Interchange Binary) are specially-coded binary files. DWT (DraWing Template) is an AutoCAD template file. DWG (DraWinG) is a special file format developed by Autodesk, developers of the CAD system AutoCAD. This file format is specially developed for AutoCAD and describes AutoCAD drawing data. Allplan offers several functions in the Interfaces module for producing data as a DWG file or for reading a DWG file. DWF (Drawing Web Format) is a is a special file format, which AutoCAD creates from DWG-format files. DWF files can be displayed in the World Wide Web. MicroStation files (.dgn) Allklima files (.hls) HPGL2 files (for import only) SVG files (for export only) ODX batch files (.ncb). It can be used by all applications that support IFC. It facilitates the accurate exchange of data between these applications. IFC are defined and developed by the IAI.
