Importing reinforcement

You can use the Import Reinforcement tool to import reinforcement drawings created with the FRILO Software programs for continuous beams, foundations and reinforced concrete columns.

To import reinforcement

1. Click Import Reinforcement (How).
   

   Activate Import Reinforcement in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Interfaces

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Interfaces

2. When you are working with projects, the Select target drawing file dialog box appears. Select the drawing file into which you want to import the reinforcement drawing.

   When you are working with documents, the program automatically opens a new file after you have selected a reinforcement drawing.

3. Select the reinforcement drawing (*.a), which can be in any folder.

   Note: The default is the local data exchange folder ...\usr\local\i_o.

4. Specify a scale for the reinforcement drawing.
   • When you are working with projects, the reinforcement drawing is automatically transferred to Allplan and displayed in the selected drawing file.
     If a fileset is open, the drawing files created are assigned temporarily to this fileset.
   • When you are working with documents, the reinforcement drawing is automatically transferred to Allplan and displayed in the new file.
