Modifying wall in view

Tool(s): Modify Wall in View

To modify wall panels and new wall elements

1. Click Modify Wall in View (How).
   

   Activate Modify Wall in View in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Precast Precast Wall

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Precast Wall

2. Select Modify wall in view in the input options.
3. Select the required wall panels and/or the new wall elements.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   For more information on the options available for selecting elements in Allplan, see Selecting elements, overview.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   The first wall is displayed in elevation view in a separate window.

4. Choose one of the following modification options:
   • Modify wall element geometry
   • Surfaces and areas for concrete, insulation and facing layers
   • Modify insulation (concrete strips), corbels
   • Modify joint section (wall panels only unless you have the appropriate license).
5. Click Cancel. When you have selected several wall panels and/or new wall elements, the next wall is displayed for modification in the view window.
