Modifying joint sections

You can use Modify joint section to modify and delete the sections of horizontal and vertical joints of wall panels. After you have pressed ESC, you can undo and redo the individual modifications without quitting the tool.
If you have a special program version, you can change the joints created manually using Split wall element along the entire length or parts. This also applies to wall elements created with Wall Element Design. In this case, the joint section cannot be deleted. But you can Delete the entire joint in plan or elevation view. You can use the Precast Element Filter and the Connection entry.

Choose one of the following modification options:

Modify joint section

You can change the section along the entire element length.

Select the section you want to change and choose a new Section type in the Joint Section dialog box. All appropriate entries in the Joint Section Catalog are available.
This way, you can also select sections for horizontal and vertical joints later.

Modify joint section in parts of area

You can change the section in the area specified.

Select a new Section type in the Joint Section dialog box. All appropriate entries in the Joint Section Catalog are available. Define the start and end points of the section.
The selected section replaces the default section in the area specified.

Delete joint section

You can delete sections by clicking.
