Modifying wall in view

Module(s): Precast Wall

You can use the Modify Wall in View tool to modify wall panels and wall elements created with Wall Element Design. In addition, you can manually add facing elements to wall panels.

To modify wall panels and new wall elements or add facing elements manually

1. Click Modify Wall in View (How).
   

   Activate Modify Wall in View in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Precast Precast Wall

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Precast Wall

2. Using the input options, specify whether
   • You want to use Modify Wall in View to edit wall panels and wall elements created using Wall Element Design.
   • You want to use Add facing element manually to create facing elements for wall panels.
3. Select the required wall panel(s) and/or the new wall elements.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   The steps that follow vary depending on your choice.
