Tool(s) Additional Reinforcement + Element Parameters dialog box + wall element design: reinforcement and fixture parameters
You can make global settings for the diameter, number of bars, anchorage length and concrete cover in the Global parameters area. Then you can set the parameters of the longitudinal bars and stirrups in the individual areas. Most parameters can also be selected and defined in the graphics area.
Right-clicking in the input area opens a shortcut menu where you can show and hide the description displayed at the bottom of the palette and the graphics in the middle.
Reinforcement at opening edge / element edge
Diameter
The list box includes the diameters that are defined in the bar cross-section catalog that is selected for reinforcement in the Bar Reinforcement module.
Number of bars
Enter the number of bars that are placed side by side.
Anchorage length ... / Hook length ...
Enter a value or have it calculated automatically. Click and define the composite zone, reinforcement quantity and anchorage type. You can specify how the length calculated is to be rounded.
Stirrup
Stirrup type
Select one of the stirrup types in the list box.
Diameter
The list box includes the diameters that are defined in the bar cross-section catalog that is selected for reinforcement in the Bar Reinforcement module.
Spacing
Enter the spacing between stirrups or select a value in the list box.
Concrete cover
Concrete cover for stirrups / bars
You can enter a global value for the concrete covers of stirrups and longitudinal bars.
Click in the relevant line if you want to define different values for individual areas.
