Lists/schedules

Module(s): Structural Precast Units + Formwork

As opposed to the Edit Element tool, you can use the Lists/Schedules tool to create and print lists/schedules for several elements in a single step. You can use the Element Plan in Batch Run tool to output several element plans in a single operation.

To create and output lists/schedules

1. Click Lists/Schedules (How).
   

   Activate Lists/Schedules in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Structural Precast Units

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Structural Precast Units

2. In the Select List dialog box, select a list by specifying the folder, subfolder and name of the list. Click OK to confirm.

   Start page numbering with number:
   This is where you enter the page number to be displayed on the first page of the list selected.

   Fit to page
   When the Fit to Page option is disabled, a binding border appears in the printout.
   When the Fit to page option is enabled, a small binding border appears in the printout; the contents of the lists/schedules (e.g. graphics) are displayed to scale.

   Precision
   You can switch the precision setting for drawing files from earlier versions that were drawn with standard precision (+ = real*4).

3. Select the elements to be included.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   • Click Find Elements in the Input options to find marks based on advanced criteria.
   • Select the elements by clicking them, enclosing them in a selection rectangle or using the bracket tool
     or
     Double-click with the right mouse button or click All in the Input options to select all the elements.
4. To print the list/schedule click one of the buttons at the bottom of the dialog box.
   

   	You can zoom in on a section in the list/schedule displayed. All you need to do is move the cursor over the area you want to zoom
   	You can open the Output Options.
   	You can copy the list/schedule to the Clipboard (as a text file with tabs). From there, you can paste it into other Windows programs.
   Allplan BCM	You can save the list/schedule as an Allplan BCM file (.xca). This option is not available with reinforcement schedules.
   Excel	You can save the list/schedule as an Excel-format file (.csv).
   	You can place the list/schedule in the drawing file.
   	You can print the list/schedule.
   Text Format	You can save the list/schedule as a text file (.txt).
   Close	You can close the list/schedule.
