The task Tendon includes all tools which are required for the geometric definition of tendons.
The geometry of a tendon along a structural member is determined by a user-defined series of constraint points, whereat optionally additional boundary conditions can be defined. Between these constraint points the calculation of the geometry is performed as cubic Hermite splines.
The definition of the particular positions of a tendon (the so-called tendon points) is done by the station in longitudinal direction and by specific points (or relative to these) within the cross section. The definition of these points themselves must be done in advance in terms of reference points or grid points within the respective cross section of the structural member.
