Reference Points

Define the geometric position of a connection at the cross section for connecting piers and for defining structural supports (springs) for the analysis model.

Moreover, reference points can be used for defining so-called Smart Placements or for defining load application points for certain load types.

To create a reference point

1. Click Reference point.
2. Click the intersection point of two lines or the parametric point, at which you want to position the reference point.
3. Directly add further reference points (back to 2.) or quit the tool with ESC.
