In the tab Tendons you can define tendons.
Tendons are organized in groups for reasons of better management and overview.
Create new tendon groups by using the context menu (right mouse click on the empty area or an existing tendon group).
Create new tendons by using the context menu on a tendon group.
Define the tendons via the respective task area in the task/tab Tendon in the Actionbar.
The definition of the tendon number, of the material and of all further specific parameters is done in the respective property windows of the tendons.
Further, by using the context menu of an existing tendon group or tendon, respectively, additional tools for copying, moving and displaying data are available:
Context menu of the tendon group or tendon, respectively
Copy
Copy the tendon to the same or a different tendon group, or copy the whole tendon group to a new tendon group, respectively
(Multiple) Copy and Move
Copy the tendon or tendon group, respectively, to a different position (station and/or position in the cross section)
For the principles see Move tendon.
When using multiple copy and move, the same tendon or the same tendon group can be copied multiple times to different positions.
In the course of this, the selected structural member can be kept or newly chosen for each copying procedure via the option Keep structural member in the Properties window, and via the option Keep, either the distances between the original tendon points (to be copied) can be kept (if applicable, new stations are automatically inserted at the respective positions of the copied tendon) or the sequence of the stationing of the original tendons can be kept (even if the distances between the stations in the range of the copied tendons possibly differ and thus the geometry of the tendons changes).
Copy and Mirror [only for tendons]
Copy the tendon and mirror it relative to a new starting position
For the principles see Mirror tendon.
Regarding the option Tendon points / Keep in the Properties window, see above.
Enumerate Tendons [only for tendon groups]
Automatically enumerate all tendons of a group
The number of the first tendon of a group is defined and the numbers of all further tendons are consecutively increased by one.
TENDONREPORT: Tendon report
Output certain geometric result data for the selected/marked tendons or tendon groups to an Excel-file.
For selecting/defining the wished result data, analogously see TENDONREPORT.
The file is directly opened after confirming and saved in a subfolder of the project directory named “Results”.
Show Tendon Details
Display certain geometric result data for the selected/marked tendons or tendon groups directly in the user interface
The selection/definition is performed analogously as described above in TENDONREPORT: Tendon report.
The file is directly displayed in the user interface after confirming.
Note: The result view can be exported to an Excel-file via the tab Results in the actionbar and the task area Export, which is saved by default in a subfolder of the project directory named “Reports”.
Create PDF [only for tendons]
Output a summary of the most important technical and geometric data of the selected tendon to a PDF-file.
The file is saved by default in a subfolder of the project directory named “Results” and is also directly displayed in the user interface after confirming.
