Definition of property sets of the joint type for verifications in the joint for composite girders
To define a new Joint type property set
Note: When creating, assign the property set to the structural unit of the bar type that is created first (i.e. the part that provides the shear dowels or shear reinforcement for shear transfer in the joint).
Type of joint
Select the appropriate type according to the standard.
2. Structural unit of the joint
Select the second structural unit of the parts located at the joint in the bond.
Border line
Select the boundary line along which you want to define the joint (this is displayed graphically).
Note: Select the boundary line that allows you to select the corresponding boundary line points to define the correct length of the joint (see next entry).
Property set area (from point to point)
Select the desired boundary line points for the start and end of the joint. Note the sense of rotation of the boundary line (red arrows when marking the boundary line).
Note: Alternatively, use the interactive function to define a property set area (similar to the description of steps 2 to 4 here).
