Plates

Structural components of type "Plate" correspond in principle to structural components of type "Beam" with the difference that plates can also be used for the Boolean operation "Haunch" (see Booleans/Haunch). Furthermore, no other structural components (supports or link girders) can be connected to panels via reference points.

Note: The functionality of this Boolean operation for panels is used in particular when intersecting haunches of precast beams with in-situ concrete panels, from which the term panel is derived.
